Meet Our Staff

Joe and his wife Chloe live to help others see and respond to the all-surpassing worth of knowing Jesus. They have two children, Judah and Nora. Joe is a graduate of Cedarville University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Bennetts love the community at Grace Bible Church and have a passion for equipping the saints for the work of ministry, building up the local church through the foundation of the Word.

Matt gave his life to Christ when he was 13 years old. Matt met his wife Tammy at BGSU and were married in 1985. They have 7 children and have attended Grace Bible Church since 1992. Matt and Tammy love serving together particularly in the areas of marriage, parenting and counseling. Matt retired from his catering business of 25 years in 2020 and is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for this next phase of his life. A verse that helps Matt keep a proper perspective on the challenges of life is Lam. 3:21-24 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will wait for him.” 

Bart has been a part of Grace Bible Church for most of his life. He has served in the youth group for about 10 years, & in the last few years has grown to love preaching God's Word, proclaiming the gospel, & building discipling relationships to point others to Christ. His greatest desire is for every student in youth group to understand & believe the gospel & how it changes everything. He strives to know & love Christ more with his whole life & is passionate about helping others do the same. When he is not serving as Youth Director you can often find Bart stitching people up in the ER at his other job as a PA. 

Kaitlyn has been an active member in the rich community of Grace Bible Church since moving to the Canal Winchester area in mid-2019. A Cedarville University graduate, her love for ministry grew during her time serving & studying there. Kaitlyn especially enjoys pointing others to Jesus & growing more like Jesus herself through mentoring & discipleship. Her desire & heart is for the youth kids to know & love Jesus, and that she would glorify God in whatever time she spends with them. You can often find her meeting with students over coffee, attending sporting events, and making up goofy dances or handshakes with the kids. 

Phil has attended Grace Bible with his wife, Annette, and son, Eli, since 2017. Phil and Annette have served in various ministries over the years and presently serve as Lifegroup Leaders. Phil has a Master of Arts in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He is passionate about his ministry to students as a teacher of History through Classic Literature at Madison Christian School. His passion for music grew out of singing and playing the piano at church from a young age. His desire is to encourage the church through the singing of songs that are theologically rich and rooted in the Scriptures.

Tamara and her husband Darren have been active members of Grace Bible Church
for over 20 years and have served in many ministries. They also enjoy the blessings of 4
children. Tamara especially enjoys serving the church with her family in
Youth Group, Children's Ministry, Worship Team, Upward Basketball, and Life
Group. They love the people of this church and desire to serve God in a way
that will glorify him.

Kate has been attending Grace Bible Church since 2019 when she was wed to her husband, Josh, who had been attending for several years. Kate loves serving the church as  bookkeeper, a nursery helper, and the PDHC liaison. Her desire is to use God's unique gifting in her life, alongside the gifting of all church members, to strengthen the church body and bring glory to our Lord Jesus.

Megan was saved July 21, 1998 four days before turning 10 years old. From a young age Christ called her and continues in his promise to keep her. She married her husband John in 2015. She is now a homeschooling mother of four, devoted to her family and putting Christ first in her life. She has a passion for growing and developing children in the love of Christ. She finds true joy in serving the children's ministry here at Grace Bible Church. 

Ashley began regularly attending Grace Bible Church in 2022 and became a member that same year with her husband, Andrew. Ashley and Andrew enjoy serving together in the worship ministry and as Life Group Leaders. Ashley has a passion for music and its ability to point people to Christ and prepare hearts for the preaching of the Word. In her role, she desires to support the worship ministry in a way that honors God so that others will see and know Him.
