1. Jesus Saves

a. Understand that Jesus gives you a new position & identity in life (3-4)

b. You are in union with Christ

c. Present (v. 3) - Christ's death is your death, Christ's resurrection is your resurrection

d. Future (v. 4) - Christ's glory is your glory

2. Christ is My Life

a. Your lie is literally Christ, so how you live must be impacted by your new identity

b. Seek God's truth (v. 1a)

c. Christ has supremacy over your life and over all things (v. 1b)

d. Set your minds on eternal things (2)

studiously reading the Bible, praying for knowledge, wisdom, understanding, & spiritual strength, being disciples or mentored by a mature Christian, intently listen to sound teaching of God's truth, being in Christ-centered community with others/forming Christ-centered relationships
