1. God is sovereign and has a higher purpose (1-2)

A. God permits suffering, yet is still in control.

B. Gos has a greater purpose that we can't always see.

2. God is faithful in his provision (2-37)

A. God provides comfort and support to those who suffer.

B. God is the source of strength and hope in difficult times.

3. God's purpose in suffering is to humble you and remind you of your dependence on him (38-42)

A. God provides grace and calls you to a life of repentance and faith.

B. God is all you need.
