We engage in serving one another through the humble and sacrificial use of our gifts.
God has wonderfully designed all of us in a unique way to serve Him; He has called and gifted us to be his servants whether inside or outside the four walls of the church. We all must use our God-given gifts to serve others. All that we possess from our spiritual to our physical gifts are all gracious gifts from God and they ultimately belong to Him. He did not give us abilities for our own benefit, but for the benefit of others. You are encouraged to find your gift and use it by serving in a ministry here at Grace Bible Church.
We equip the body for ministry through example, teaching, and discipleship.
It is important to be equipped to live a victorious Christian life. While we equip people to practically learn and apply Scripture, we ultimately believe that their application of the Scripture can be greatly enhanced by discipleship relationships. It is in a real life community of believers where they can be held accountable by their brothers and sisters in Christ. Through Christian fellowship and mutual admonition; our church body ministers to itself in its progressive transformation toward Christlikeness and maturity (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Through various small group studies (Growth Groups, Home Bible Studies and Life Groups) that are offered throughout the week, we want to help our people understand and apply everything from the basics of the Bible, to the deepest truths of theology, to the most practical aspects of marriage and childrearing. Feel free to attend one of the following groups or call the leader of that group for more information.
Become a member! Although Scripture does not contain an explicit command to formally join a local church, the biblical foundation for church membership permeates the New Testament. No explicit command is needed for it is assumed that Christians would be committed to their local body.
While our church offers the weekend Worship Service, Fellowship Groups, Growth Groups, and discipleship classes as our primary venues to disciple our people, there are many more ministries available as well. These ministries not only continue to fulfill our purpose to glorify God by making more and better disciples, but they also give our people opportunities to serve one another with their God given gifts.
